SHSC Paddle Trips Cancellation Policy

We understand that plans can change, and we aim to provide flexibility while balancing the commitments we’ve made to our partners. Below is our cancellation policy for paddle travel holidays booked with Sydney Harbour Surf Club.

Cancellation by Customers:

  • Cancellations 250 days or more before the start of the trip:

Full refund, minus a $200 administrative fee.

  • Cancellations 150-250 days before the start of the trip:

50% of the total trip cost will be refunded.

  • Cancellations 30-60 days before the start of the trip:

25% of the total trip cost will be refunded.

  • Cancellations less than 30 days before the start of the trip:

No refund will be provided.

Non-Refundable Components:

Please note that certain elements of your trip, such as flights, special permits, or accommodations, may be non-refundable, depending on the policies of third-party suppliers. These details will be outlined in your booking confirmation. 

Cancellation by Sydney Harbour Surf Club:

In the unlikely event that Sydney Harbour Surf Club cancels your trip due to unforeseen circumstances (e.g., safety concerns, natural disasters, or insufficient participation), you will receive a full refund of all payments made. Alternatively, you can choose to reschedule for a future date or receive credit towards another trip. 

Force Majeure: 

Sydney Harbour Surf Club is not responsible for cancellations due to force majeure events such as natural disasters, government restrictions, pandemics, or other circumstances beyond our control. In such cases, refunds will be evaluated based on the policies of third-party providers and may not be guaranteed.

Travel Insurance:

We strongly recommend purchasing travel insurance that includes trip cancellation coverage to protect yourself in case of unexpected changes. 

How to Cancel:

All cancellation requests must be made in writing to admin@sydneyharboursurfclub.com.au.The cancellation date will be the date we receive your written notice.
