Today I finished off the UK paddle trip with the English Channel Crossing. I paddled from England to France (48km) in 3 hours 41 mins. The French government has prohibited kayakers making the crossing, however, the French maritime police must have been having lunch and sipping on wine, because I paddled straight onto their beach, had a beer in their pub and then got back on the boat for the journey back to England.
