Surf ski paddling is the most enjoyable way to get that cardio, strength and abdominal workout whilst being surrounded by beautiful Sydney Harbour. Our outdoor harbour playground is a safe, flat water/wind protected area, creating perfect conditions to learn how to paddle.
We provide you the surf ski, paddle & lifejacket and our qualified paddling coaches will help improve your technique and fitness level. We paddle rain, hail or shine and provide an easy step by step guide to learning.
L1 - Learn to Paddle Classes
Start strong with the right foundation.
Our entry-level class is designed for beginners who want to learn how to paddle safely and effectively. We cover everything from ski setup and launching, to balance and basic paddle stroke technique. You’ll begin exploring calm sections of the harbour while developing the confidence to progress further.
Please arrive 15mins before the App class start time to meet the coach, be set up on a stable surf ski and to be on the water ready to go for the class.
We supply the stable surf ski, paddle and PFD. Simply turn up in activewear/water clothing (boardshorts without pocket zippers please) and a drink bottle.

L1.5 - Learn the Right Stroke
Refine your technique, build your power.
Level 1.5 classes are the next step up from our Level 1 - Learn the Basics classes.
In this next-level class, we focus on developing proper stroke mechanics using the correct body positioning and paddle technique. The aim is to increase power while reducing drag. You’ll begin venturing further into the harbour as your skillset expands, with each session designed to help you paddle more efficiently.
This class is the stepping stone for the L2 Flow/Technique classes.
Please arrive 15 mins before the App class start time to meet your coach, be setup on your surf ski and onto the water ready to go.

L2 - Flow Paddling Classes
Find your rhythm and build endurance.
This level introduces interval training and advanced technique work. The focus is on blending fitness with form, improving your paddling rhythm, efficiency, and aerobic capacity. As your confidence grows, we begin exploring more dynamic areas of Sydney Harbour—bringing new challenges and rewarding scenery to each session.
The coach is also able to spend time on skill development such as how to use the wind and swell, so you are confident in all paddling conditions.

L3 - Cardio Paddling Class
Train hard, go further.
Level 3 features a 12-week progressive training program focused on cardiovascular conditioning. Using structured high-intensity intervals, we target aerobic, anaerobic, and lactic threshold systems to enhance overall fitness and speed. These sessions often explore broader harbour routes, offering both physical challenges and stunning paddling experiences.

L4 - Turbo Paddling Classes
High performance on the harbour.
Our most advanced flatwater group is designed for experienced paddlers looking to reach peak performance. The 12-week Turbo program uses progressive overload and advanced technique training to maximise speed, power, and endurance. Sessions explore the full expanse of Sydney Harbour, offering fast-paced training in some of its most spectacular locations.
